The founders of SSLC recognize the need for language skills in the global economy. We are willing and able to provide language training to individuals and groups to satisfy particular requirements. As a result, we are pleased to announce the expansion of our languages to include Arabic, Farsi (Persian), Hindi, Turkish, Azerbaijani, and Urdu in addition to Spanish, German, and French in our foreign language program. We believe that in order to truly learn a language the student needs an understanding of the culture of the people using that language. At Sterling Supplemental Learning Centers, our language program integrates both classical language education and aspects of culture and history. Solid language communications is more than knowing the words; it is also about knowing and understanding the people. Most of our language instructors are native speakers with many years of immersion in the language and society that the student is studying. Moreover, SSLC instructors have backgrounds in course preparation to ensure the development and implementation of highly productive language courses.

Following an assessment of the student's current level of language skills, the SSLC staff will develop a curriculum designed around learning goals and timeframes for learning experiences.
