SSLC tutoring for ESL is offered in conjunction with all of our other offerings. By utilizing low learner-to-instructor ratios, SSLC can provide the individual attention that supplemental learners need to master English. As with other Sterling programs, students are provided a placement test and evaluation of their conversation and writing in order to identify the optimal level for entering the ESL program. These assessment tools help place the student in the correct level of study so they gain mastery of the English language. Our full ESL program uses validated materials to guide each learner to improvement in conversational grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing skills. Often the extent of accomplishment in the classroom and workplace relies on mastery of the English language. Sterling is ready to be the catalyst in turning the situation to a victory. |  | ||
