SAT
More than ever before, entrance tests and screening assessments are sources of frustration and anxiety for many applicants to colleges and other educational institutions. To remedy the situation, the test preparation programs at Sterling utilize single learner-to-educator units to give the individual attention needed for improved scores.
Sterling starts with an initial assessment test which provides indicators on the level of English and mathematic instruction that the learner requires. Based on this evaluation, SSLC professionals tailor and provide the appropriate balance of instruction to ensure success.
In addition to SAT preparation, Sterling offers test preparation training for the PSAT, ACT, and other programs.
GED and ASVAB
For those interested in improving test scores for the Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) or obtaining their GED (high school equivalency diploma), Sterling offers training geared to the mathematical and English needs of the learner. Group and individual sessions can be arranged. For both the ASVAB and GED programs, Sterling staff utilizes pre-testing to determine the needs of the student.
