Sterling Supplemental Learning Centers (SSLC) was founded in Rockville, Maryland to offer supplemental learning services, including tutoring, to a wide variety of people. SSLC was formed under the direction of three university professors, each with over 20 years of academic experience, and was established through their concerns for students and the quality of learning. The primary focus of Sterling Supplemental Learning Centers is based upon the founders' concerns for the qualiy of student learning and the desire to support the academic community in the pursuit of excellence.

Through personalized and focused teaching processes, SSLC students sharpen the abilities and skills needed for ongoing success. All of the SSLC programs seek involvement of the parents/guardians with the student's experience to ensure continued intellectual growth. Throughout all of the Sterling Supplemental Learning Centers activities, learners are provided with skills to help them better focus their personal study time to prepare for academics and beyond. Most importantly, at SSLC, we strive to make the learning experience an enjoyable one.
